It started the way most good things do — with a father who knew how to work and a son willing to learn. In 1998, Paul Raimundo launched a maintenance company in Altamonte Springs. Within two years, the work had grown into full building remodels, and David had joined him on the job sites, learning the trade firsthand.
In 2000, they formalized what they were building together and launched Construction Solutions-USA as a State of Florida certified construction company. David went on to earn his own certified building contractor license in 2007 — a milestone that arrived just as the Great Recession began dismantling the construction industry around them.
Most companies didn't survive those years. This one did. The Raimundos made hard decisions — streamlined operations, relocated, cut what wasn't working — and kept building. That experience didn't just test the business. It sharpened it.
In 2016, with the difficult years behind them, PDL Construction was established — a new name reflecting a stronger, more focused operation. Today, David leads the company with the same hands-on approach his father instilled, serving homeowners and businesses across Central Florida as a full-service design-build contractor — from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
